The MLK (Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.) Weekend of Service (January 15 – 18), Day of Service (January 18), and MLK 40 Days of Peace (through February 28) exists to empower individuals, strengthen communities, bridge barriers, address social challenges, and move us closer to Dr. King’s vision of a “Beloved Community” where love and trust will triumph over fear and hatred.

“The aftermath of violence is bitterness. The aftermath of non-violence is the creation of beloved community so that when the battle is over, a new relationship comes into being. The end is reconciliation. The end is redemption. This is the love that may well be the salvation of our civilization.”

“Everyone can be great because everybody can serve.” MLK

Love Currency Embassy - Co-Creation 3

Be the Sacred Circle at the Love Currency Embassy

In the continuation of our journey to cross the bridge from a destructive way of living to a life aligned with the nurturing love of Mother Earth and the natural world, we continue the Indigenous Ceremonial Change Process together in a sacred circle. In this process, we learn indigenous wisdom from Grandmother Patricia Anne Davis, a Choctaw-Navajo/Chahta-Dineh indigenous wisdom keeper, nativeamericanconcepts.wordpress.com/about/, co-facilitated by her apprentice, Amaya Tala, www.amayatala.com/about-amaya-tala. Indigenous wisdom carries the guidance and messages directly from Mother Earth and the Universal natural world. Since we are All indigenous to this Planet, this is an opportunity for us to learn and embody this to truly address our world’s imbalances from its roots, instead of its symptoms; hence, restore our wellness and remember our sacred humaneness and oneness.

Where we are in The Indigenous Ceremonial Change Process

After we have named the out of balance condition and its root cause as a collective, braved the emptying process, reframed with poems and songs & addressed the crystallized thought forms in our pursuit to co-create in our previous sessions, we will continue our co-creation process for the out-of-balanced conditions we have named as a group (Co-Creation with Creator within Creation) in the next session. After that, we will continue the process of linking empathic coalitions, and life application in our future sessions. Since each one of us is at different stages of the process, any part of the process is also welcome in the sacred space.

You & Our Sacred Circle Are The Sacred "Instruments" of Our Ceremony

Although this version of the ceremony does not contain live rituals of dancing, chanting, drumming, and singing of the original ceremony due to time constraints, there will be a video presentation of examples of a meditative state. This version of the ceremony keeps the core spirit of the ceremony where healing is within each of us and within our circle, each of us is THE sacred “instrument,” self-reflection and correction are healing us and Mother Earth, and emptying in a circle is the social medicine. This also helps us refrain from “romanticizing” indigenous ceremonies for entertainment purposes or superficial pleasantness and transformation.

This is A Process for A Reason

This ceremony is called a process for a reason. This is not one-time cures of symptoms of the world's imbalances. This is a real and authentic inner and community change process that addresses the root causes of our world imbalances to directly align our thinking, being, and doing with Mother Earth and the natural order. During this era of conveniences, it helps us remember and sync with the natural cycles of our humaneness.

Our Sacred Selves

Please bring your sacred selves who already carry the songs and rhythms of Mother Earth within and your intention to blossom from within so we can live in harmony with one another and with Mother Earth. She is calling us. In response, You and Our Circle are the main sacred “instruments” of the sounds and voices of our hearts in ceremony.

Suggested Offering (But no one will be turned away)

Suggested Offering is $10 or more per session but no one will be turned away.
