MAN UP talk on the Beloved Community of Dr. King

A diverse group of male leaders from across USA and the Globe will share their experiences and viewpoints on what the MLK Beloved Community means to them!
Many of us grew up during the civil rights area and we will be discussing the impact that Dr. MLK Jr had on our lives and some of the progress we have made but also the remaining challenges in 2023
Dr. John Lowen who will help facilitate the discussion has lived and worked in Harlem and now the Northwest USA counseling both families and criminals in a compassionate way. John has been facilitator for a weekly men’s group for the past 2 years. Members of the group will be sharing their insights into what Dr. King has meant to them and his influence.
Host Better Days with Peter Hayes who is one of the founders of MAN UP and is MLK Grants manager for Compassion Games will help lead the discussion that should be lively and diverse!
