“Imagine if Dr. King had a Facebook!”

We have created a video to encourage the use of Social Media for the cause MLK fought for. It is called: “Imagine if Dr. King had a Facebook?”
Written by Antonio “Toni Mono Flow” Monix and Isaiah “I Am Adverb” James, Produced by Shahram Sedehi.
The content of the video asks the viewers to IMAGINE:
- “If Dr. King had a Facebook? Would MLK send you a friend request? Would he see you as a genuine equal rights activist or yet another “fake account”!?
- How would MLK use Facebook for the cause?
- The cause of holding ourselves and our leaders accountable for how we treat our fellow humans, regardless of color or creed.
Location: Chicago Southside. We will show the first showing of the video and have a panel discussion with all performers and those involved with the production.

Adverb and Mono have been writing and performing spoken words poems for the last 15 years. Shahram Sedehi has been an independent filmmaker for the last 4 years, supporting community activists here in Chicago, especially his wife Mama Joy.
