Care Full Creation

As participants enter the room, I will be holding a lit candle, and inviting others to light and share a candle as well. When folx have gathered, I will share a simple sacred chant. Attendees are invited to have creations ready to share with each other, as part of a discussion on how we individually and collectively might use creative practices to support, facilitate and nourish restorative come-unity, each other, the planet and all beings. At the end of the session we will each share a short phrase about what we will take with us, and extinguish our candles while I tone Ohm

Sylvia graduated from Colgate Rochester Divinity School the week of the Rodney King riots, with Jesse Jackson preaching from Watts, CA over the telephone. Was part of Soulforce.org for 5 years, pledging to follow vows signed by marchers with Dr ML King Jr at each action, Was active in the Baptist Peace Fellowship of North America from 1988 til about 2010. Started learning how to embody the sacred Presence in that community. Became a reiki master teacher in 2003. Have shared thousands of origami creations across the northern hemisphere, and regularly share cooking to support wellness, offer care, and uplift come-community.
