Jim Garrison, President of Ubiquity University and cofounder of Humanity Rising, recently said, “I believe we are in the most dangerous moment in our lifetime, certainly since the Cuban Missile Crisis of 1962. The momentum toward war is now seriously escalating and could very easily end up in some kind of nuclear exchange.”
Jim has written a blog post titled: The Pathway to Peace in Ukraine and is planning a series of Summits on Peace Feb 27 – Mar 4, exploring effective activism in the peace movement that brings us into the New Era. He has also published a video about the situation in Ukraine.
Dr. Martin Luther King (MLK) said: “Those who love peace must learn to organize as effectively as those who love war.” What if this global crisis can serve as a compelling tipping point – an opportunity to take our collective co-organizing to the next level as a global peace movement?
We invite leading peace organizations to come together in unprecedented unified action. Let us begin with a conversation on January 16th to discover how to make this happen as we seed the field for the upcoming Summits.
