The Opening Ceremony Celebrating and Honoring Dr. King will be held on January 13, 12-2 PM EST. We are honored and thankful that a diverse circle of our Human Family will join us with Sacred Prayers and Songs.
In MLK's words a Beloved Community is "a community in which everyone is cared for, absent of poverty, hunger, and hate."
This ideal represents what the Indigenous People know as the "Original Instruction" for being humane, living in unity, in love and peace. His words inspire generations, yet our actions do not yet reflect his vision. Participant Discussion on why we are not listening and actualizing MLK's statement: “When I speak of love I am not speaking of some sentimental and weak response. I am speaking of that force which all of the great religions have seen as the supreme unifying principle of life. Love is somehow the key that unlocks the door which leads to ultimate reality.”
The Core Team of the One Humanity Institute will be live streaming from the Peace Lab in Oswiecim/Auschwitz Poland. We too have a Dream like MLK, and we are creating a City of Hope, an emerging innovation city, a Solutionarium where we transform the history and horror of the worst human behavior to the best we can be. Come meet team members and prepare to become inspired by our City of Hope dream, and find ways that you can join in here in Poland, and locally where you are living.
