Earth: Befriend. Be Kind. Re-Wild.

A Compassion Games Doorway for Restoring Life on Earth

The Earth doorway invites people everywhere to turn love for the natural world into compassionate action.

This is for everyone who cares about ecology, restoration, pollinators, climate action, biodiversity, animal kinship, and the living systems that sustain us all.

During the Compassion Games: Survival of the Kindest, we are calling people to play for Earth by taking simple, meaningful, regenerative actions — then sharing those actions so they can inspire others.

Whether you plant a pollinator garden, restore a habitat, protect animals, clean up a local place, tell a rewilding story, or help your community reconnect with the living Earth, your actions matter.

The Featured Way to Play
Befriend. Be Kind. Re-Wild.

This Way to Play invites us to deepen our relationship with the more-than-human world.

To befriend means to notice, learn from, and build relationship with the living beings around us.

To be kind means to act with care toward animals, plants, waterways, soil, forests, pollinators, and ecosystems.

To re-wild means to help life return — in our homes, yards, neighborhoods, communities, watersheds, and bioregions.

Ways You Can Play for Earth

You can play in many ways. Start where you are, with what you love, and with what your place is calling for.

Plant for Pollinators

Create or support pollinator gardens for bees, butterflies, birds, and other vital species.

Restore a Place

Join or organize ecological restoration, habitat repair, beach cleanups, forest care, watershed healing, or invasive species removal.

Protect the Animal Kingdom

Take actions that support wildlife, companion animals, endangered species, animal rescue, or compassionate coexistence.

Tell Rewilding Stories

Share stories of land, water, species, and communities coming back to life.

Practice Climate Compassion

Take local action that reduces harm, restores balance, and helps communities become more resilient.

Start Small. Report What You Do. Inspire the World.

The Compassion Games are not about doing everything. They are about doing something — and making it count.

Every act of compassion for Earth can be reported through the Compassion in Action Report.

Your report helps us show what is happening across communities, bioregions, and the world. It helps turn individual actions into shared impact.

Why Reporting Matters

When you submit a Compassion in Action Report, you help us:

Show the real impact of compassionate action.

Lift up stories of ecological restoration and care.

Map participation across communities and bioregions.

Celebrate teams, partners, and local leaders.

Inspire others to take action for Earth.

This is how the Games become visible. This is how local acts become part of a global story.

Who This Doorway Is For

The Earth doorway is especially relevant for people and organizations working with:

Ecology
Climate action
Pollinator protection
Biodiversity
Permaculture
Animal welfare
Watershed restoration
Rewilding
Regenerative agriculture
Habitat restoration
Indigenous-led land and water protection

Parks, forests, rivers, oceans, and sacred places

You do not need to be an expert to play. You only need to care — and be willing to act.

Play as an Individual, Team, Organization, or Bioregion

You can play on your own, with your family, with a school, with a faith community, with a nonprofit, with a business, with a neighborhood, or as part of a bioregional team.

The Compassion Games are designed as a team of teams.

Every act matters. Every report adds to the story. Every community can become part of the field of play.
