Two Declarations. One Shared Purpose.
Peace cannot be left solely to governments, institutions, technology companies, or those directly involved in conflict. It must also rise from people everywhere.
These two companion declarations give each of us a meaningful way to add our voice, make our collective will visible, and call upon those with influence and authority to help prove peace is possible.
The other calls upon those shaping artificial intelligence to put intelligence in service to peace.

A Global Call for September 21
What could become possible if humanity stopped fighting for one day?
We call upon governments, armed forces, armed groups, and all ceasefire authority holders to support a verified 24-hour humanitarian pause, ceasefire, and day of nonviolence on September 21—the United Nations International Day of Peace—and to invite every party to reciprocate.
By adding our voices, we make humanity’s desire for peace visible and call upon those with the authority to choose peace.
The declaration includes a two-minute video and four opportunities to share what peace means to you, who you hold in your heart, how you will practice peace, and what you want those with influence and authority to hear.

Intelligence in Service to Life
Artificial intelligence is rapidly shaping humanity’s future. We believe its greatest promise lies not only in what it can create, but in how it can help humanity prevent violence, build understanding, support peacemakers, and choose peace.
We call upon the world’s frontier AI labs (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google Deepmind, x.AI, Meta, Microsoft), and AI leaders to join AI for Peace and put their capabilities in service to We the People Choose Peace—beginning with the global call for a verified 24-hour humanitarian pause, ceasefire, and day of nonviolence on September 21.
We also call upon them to participate in a new kind of co-opetition: working alongside one another—and alongside peacemakers, affected communities, Indigenous leaders, diplomats, humanitarian organizations, and people everywhere—to demonstrate how AI can help prove peace is possible.
